There is a song in my playlist that I had to listen to while reading this, only because it reminds me of two characters I heart oh-so-much...one of which is Itachi, while another is an original charrie of mine whom I made so many years ago and is still going strong. The song is called 'The Man Who Swallowed My Soul' and it is performed by Persephone. Look it up, you might enjoy it. Now THAT is out of the way, I must gush. This was quite nicely written and I think it was tastefully done...a hint of citrus, not an overpowering draught, and ample detailing (but not overly elaborate) throughout the story. I was able to visualize this as I read it, which isn't something just anyone can pull off. Excellent work Arien! I will now go see what else you have posted up for reading. ^^
